Christi Bowen is an award winning voice talent with over 30 years experience in voice over and video production. A full time voice actor since 2011, Christi has developed a roster of clients all over the world and on many types of projects… from commercials and corporate narrations to e-learning modules and phone systems. With the help of fellow veteran voice acting coaches and mentors, Christi launched TNVO Studios with the idea to give a more in-depth and honest look at the voiceover business and what it takes to make it a career. TNVO Studios uses the 3 Star Method (taken from the 3 stars of the Tennessee State emblem) to teach the fundamental areas that all voice actors must know – performance, business and technical skills.

These FAQ's might help you decide

  • Is this for beginners only or can someone with some experience get anything out of the course?

    Great question! We welcome all skill levels and provide value to all students on the journey to a voiceover career. Everyone's path is different and no matter how far along you are, there will always be questions and roadblocks. This course is designed to help with those issues.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes we do. There are two plans - Atlas and Atlas & Compass and both are available with 3 month payment options. Altas is $199/month for 3 months or Atlas & Compass is $299/month for 3 months. The credit card you used to register for the course will be automatically charged each month.

  • Do I get all of the courses at once?

    Short answer - No. We've all bought courses before only to never complete them or get overwhelmed by the amount of content. We've designed this course so that, like a college or in-person weekly course, you only receive a few lessons at a time. Over the course of 25 days you will receive all 12 lessons. This allows you to do the homework and process the information you're given to build on your success.

  • Do I need to have a home studio to start this course?

    No. Having a home studio is not a prerequisite for the course. In fact, you will learn more about what is needed on the technical side of the industry in the course. If you already have a home studio, no problem, you're a step further down the road on your VO journey.

  • Will this teach me how to be a voice actor?

    While we do touch on performance in the Career Path course, we recommend working with a trusted performance coach to master your acting skills. What we do teach is the business side of the industry. So yes, we do teach you the skills to be a working voice actor - but from a business perspective.

  • Will this course provide the steps I need to start working in voiceover?

    Yes, that's what it's designed for. But, if you're looking for a checklist of items and a step by step guide, this isn't it. What we do provide is an in depth look at the industry and steps that you then put in the order that works best for you and your journey. No one's path is the same so you chart your own course, we give you the road map.

  • Do I have to live in Tennessee to take the course?

    Nope, everyone with an internet connection is welcome!
